The variance floor for estimating signal power

Readings X1,,XnX_1, \dots, X_n are i.i.d. Normal with unknown mean μ\mu and known variance σ2\sigma^2. You want the signal power g(μ)=μ2g(\mu) = \mu^2.

State the Cramer-Rao lower bound for an unbiased estimator of μ2\mu^2, and comment on the naive plug-in Xˉ2\bar X^2.
