Break a stick, can the pieces form a triangle?

Asked at Jane Street

You break a stick of length 11 at two points chosen independently and uniformly along it.

What is the probability that the three resulting pieces can form a triangle?

Show a hint

Three lengths form a triangle exactly when no single piece is at least half the total. Let the two cut points be xx and yy, uniform on the unit square, and translate the triangle inequality into a region.
