Folding a sheet of paper to the Moon
A sheet of paper is 0.1 mm thick. Each fold doubles the thickness of the stack. The Moon is about 384,000 km away.
How many folds would it take for the folded stack to reach the Moon? (Pretend the paper can be folded as many times as you like.) Then estimate how many folds reach the height of a person, and how many reach the Sun.
