Cut the clock face into three parts with equal sums
A clock face shows the numbers 1 to 12 in the usual circle. Draw two straight lines across the face so that it is divided into three regions, and the numbers inside each region add up to the same total.

First work out what each region's total must be. Then notice that numbers directly across the face from each other, such as 12 and 1, 11 and 2, 10 and 3, always add to 13.
